● Conducted every three years after initial certification registration
● One on-site inspection including document review
Granting, Refusing, Maintaining and Renewing Certification
● We will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, accreditation body requirements and certification body requirements related to the certification system in order to grant, refuse, maintain and renew certification.
● The certification body will issue a renewed certificate within the validity period through audits.
● After certification, if any changes occur that may affect the certified management system in order to continually meet the requirements of the certification standard, the certification body must be notified immediately.
● In the case of transfer, only organizations that are IAF/MLA certified will be considered, and organizations that do not have IAF/MLA certification will be treated as new certifications.
Pause
● The LAP Secretariat will decide to suspend the certification if there are persistent or significant non-conformities with the certification requirements concerning the effectiveness of the certified management system, if scheduled audits are not conducted, or if a suspension is requested by the client.
Cancel
● If you are unable to resolve the issue that caused the suspension within a certain period of time, your certification may be revoked.
Return
● If during the suspension period we determine that the issue that caused the certification suspension has been resolved, we will reinstate the certification.
● If certification has lapsed, the corrections and verification of corrective actions can be carried out and the certification can be reinstated if any outstanding recertification activities are completed within six months.
Expansion/reduction of Certification Scope
● If the client is unable to resolve the issues that caused the suspension within a certain period of time, or if there are persistent or significant non-compliance with the certification requirements, the LAP Secretariat will decide to reduce the client’s scope of certification to exclude those areas that do not comply with the requirements, or, if necessary, to expand the scope of certification.
